Our farm is located in Northern Alabama, in close proximity to the city of Huntsville.  It is home to our beautiful herd of Scottish Highland cattle.  Registered Highlands, all our cows have strong bloodlines exhibiting the best characteristics and qualities of the breed.

The Highlands have been known for centuries, being one of the oldest registered cattle breeds. Originating from the remote, harsh Scottish Highlands, the breed has evolved through a severe process of natural selection where only the most adaptable, strongest and resilient animals were able to survive.

As a result, the Highlands today are the product of centuries of evolution, with characteristics that allow them to strive in conditions where other breeds struggle. Extreme cold conditions and snow are not an issue for the breed while they also easily adapt in hot/humid climates. The Highlands are successfully raised anywhere from Alaska and Scandinavian countries to southern regions such as Alabama, Georgia, Texas in the US.

The breed is known for their mild and calm temperaments with a good disposition and ability to be halter trained. Excellent mothers, the heifers are very well adapted in raising their young ones.  Resistant to disease, they also require very little in terms of shelter, food supplements or special grains.

The colors seen today in the breed are: red, black, silver- white, yellow and chocolate (dun), all equally beautiful.

We are proud of our Highland family!
